Things get sticky for Dr Ian Goodyer

Inngots Dr Ian Goodyer crosses the finish line in the Beachy Head Half Marathon 22_10_23

Dr Ian Goodyer, Inngot’s Head of IP Services, took part in the Beachy Head Half Marathon last Sunday, up hill and down dale across the Seven Sisters Country Park.

Despite Storm Babet smashing into the area on the Saturday, the runners on Sunday enjoyed sunny skies, although Ian says the course was very muddy. He and many other participants ended up falling over and literally being bogged down by the conditions. Ian says he was aiming for 1 hour and 45 minutes but ended up crossing the finishing line in just over 2 hours.

Ian is the runner on the right in the picture.

If any Inngot followers live in or are planning on visiting the Beachy Head area, then details of future events can be found on the Visit Eastbourne site.
