Inngot again supports APC TDAP with IP advice for the latest wave of tech-rich SMEs
5 May 2022
Inngot is proud to be able to announce that we are a delivery partner for the Advanced Propulsion Centre’s Technology Developer Accelerator Program for the latest wave of IP-rich SMEs to get funding and advice on developing their innovative ideas through to market.
We first got involved on a pilot project for the TDAP’s Wave 1, and we then came on board as an official delivery partner for all five waves since then.
As with the previous waves, Inngot will be providing face-to-face and online tools-based support to help Wave 6 companies identify the full range of their IP and intangibles and get an idea of what they may be worth, to inform strategic R&D planning and future discussions with potential lenders, investors and grant-making bodies.
The APC is a non-profit organization headquartered at the University of Warwick in Coventry. It manages a £1bn investment fund, jointly supplied by the UK automotive industry and UK government. It directs funding to UK-based research and development projects related to low-carbon emission powertrain technologies
The TDAP initiative offers cutting-edge technology developers, specialising in clean, green energy innovations that will help accelerate the global race to decarbonise transport, up to £135,000 in grant funding, technical support and business mentoring to bring their innovations to life and accelerate their route to market.
TDAP’s Wave 6 sees 13 companies receiving a combined £1.8 million support package. These companies cover a range of low-carbon automotive technologies from magneto-electrochemical systems that can charge batteries four times faster than current averages, to systems that create green hydrogen from ammonia and technology that can capture harmful tyre particles and reduce ocean pollution.
The 13 companies are:
About:Energy – Oxfordshire
ANGOKA – Belfast
Botanic Energy – West Sussex
Catalsys – Hartlepool
CurvEx Technology – Birmingham
Fergusson’s Advanced Composite Technology (FACT) – London
Gaussion – London
