The International Trademark Association (INTA), which represents the interests of large and small trade mark owners around the world, is holding its INTA 2023 Annual Meeting in Singapore in two weeks’ time, from May 16th to May 20th – and Inngot CEO Martin Brassell has been invited to talk to more than 7,000 in-person and virtual attendees about IP-based finance.
Martin Brassell will be speaking on a panel covering “IP Financing: How to Leverage your Intangible Assets to Secure Financing”, as part of the conference’s Business track. His session starts at 10.45 Singapore time (3.45 GMT) on Thursday, May 18th.
A regular speaker at IP-related events, Martin is a recognised global expert on IP monetisation; IP-backed finance (the use of Intellectual Property and intangibles assets as collateral to secure funding, including bank lending); and policy issues relating to the collateralisation of IP.
Named by IAM as one of its IP Strategy 300 Global Leaders, he has worked on projects for bodies including the OECD, UK Treasury, the UK’s Intellectual Property Office, ACCA, the Malaysian Innovation Agency, and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, as well as companies of all sizes from multi-national groups to SMEs.
Inngot, which he co-founded in 2009, delivers policy work and bespoke IP audits and valuation services as well as operating a world-first online platform which companies of any size can use to get a fast and cost-effective valuation of their IP and intangibles.
Leading international banks have built Inngot’s online IP identification and valuation tools into their lending approval processes.
INTA’s live conference in May 16 will be followed by a virtual conference featuring all of the sessions from the Singapore event, which will run from June 27th to June 29th.s
